Sensory Needs Practitioner Training: Day Two

Online Training Course by NW Autism & SEND

Course Summary

Our new Sensory Needs Practitioner Training: Day Two is to update attendees who have attended the original Sensory Needs Practitioner Training. This is to build on what they have learnt by putting these interventions into practice in your settings. This training will cover the next stage in how you help and support the individuals you work with.

This intervention looks at personal sensory preferences with a ‘Sensory Diet’, and how to deliver sensory needs intervention as a group with a ‘sensory circuit’

While assessing children throughout the intervention is helpful to us practitioners working with individuals with sensory difficulties, we also need to ensure they have access to a range of interventions, which is set out in this course
